Pattern Details
Mod Deco is a row by row quilt a striking new modern geometric design pieced using a few different techniques.
Strip piecing, half square triangles and simple foundation paper piecing.
The fabric selection uses two contrasting neutrals with one coloured fabric or use multiple prints of the same colours as long as you have a contrast between your three colour choices.
The finished quilt is 70” square but you will have options to increase the size with either a plain border 80” square, or a pieced border increasing the size to 90”.
Fabric Requirements
Quilt Size 70” x 70”
• 2.5 metres Neutral One (Light)
• 2.5 metres Neutral Two (Dark)
• 1.5 metres Coloured fabric
• 60 cm binding fabric
Border Option One - Quilt size 80” x 80”
• 40cm Coloured fabric
• 1 metre Dark or Light Neutral fabric
• 70cm binding
Border Option Two - Quilt Size 90” x 90”
• 2 metres Dark Neutral
• 1.5 metres Light Neutral
• 70cm Coloured fabric
• 80cm binding
